Wild Apricot charges by how many contacts you have. It starts at $66 a month for up to 100 contacts (from their pricing page, July 2026) and climbs into higher monthly tiers as your contact count grows. There is a 60-day free trial but no free plan.

What you would be trading
Fair trade-off, named plainly. Wild Apricot is a polished, fully hosted product, and someone else handles the servers and the updates. With WordPress, you or your host keep the site running, and you assemble it yourself. If you already run a WordPress site, that is not extra work, it is the setup you already have. If you do not, and you want zero technical involvement, a hosted product may suit you better.
