Get up and running with Nonprofit Manager in minutes.

Installation

Free version

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New
  2. Search for "Nonprofit Manager"
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate
  4. Go to Nonprofit Manager in the sidebar to get started

Pro version

PRO
  1. Download the Pro plugin ZIP from your account dashboard
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
  3. Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now, then Activate
  4. Go to Nonprofit Manager > License to activate

License activation

  1. Copy your license key from your account dashboard or purchase confirmation email
  2. In WordPress, go to Nonprofit Manager > License
  3. Paste your license key and click Activate
  4. You should see a green "Active" status confirming your license is valid

Each license key has a limited number of site activations depending on your plan. You can manage activations from your account dashboard.

Quick start guides

Members

  1. Go to Nonprofit Manager > Members in your WordPress dashboard
  2. Click Add New to create your first member
  3. Fill in name, email, and membership level
  4. Use Import to bulk-add members from a CSV file

Donations

  1. Go to Nonprofit Manager > Donations
  2. Create a donation form under Forms > Add New
  3. Configure payment amounts and form fields
  4. Embed the form on any page with the shortcode or block

Newsletters (Pro)

  1. Go to Nonprofit Manager > Newsletters
  2. Click Create Newsletter and choose a template
  3. Add your content using the drag-and-drop builder
  4. Select recipients and schedule or send immediately

Events

  1. Go to Nonprofit Manager > Events
  2. Click Add New Event and fill in the details
  3. Enable registration if you want to collect RSVPs
  4. Display events with the calendar block or shortcode

Email Automation (Pro)

  1. Go to Nonprofit Manager > Automation
  2. Click Create Sequence and choose a trigger
  3. Add email steps with delays between them
  4. Activate the sequence to start sending automatically

FAQ

What are the minimum requirements?

WordPress 6.0 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher. The plugin works with any standard WordPress hosting.

Does it work with my theme?

Yes. Nonprofit Manager uses standard WordPress blocks and shortcodes that work with any properly coded theme.

Can I use the free and Pro versions together?

The Pro version replaces the free version. When you install Pro, it includes everything from the free version plus the additional Pro features.

Where are donations processed?

Donations are processed through Stripe. You will need a free Stripe account to accept payments.

Can I migrate from another plugin?

We provide import tools for common formats. Contact support if you need help migrating from a specific plugin.
